Acquisition of Land With Golden Saxifrage

Viborg Municipality has acquired 16.7 hectares in Nørreådalen near Mollerup, with the aim of protecting two springs and the areas particularly high biodiversity, especially the rare species Golden Saxifrage and Slender green feather-moss, both of which occur in the area.

The areas around the two springs are fenced off and grazed together to further promote the spread of these rare species in the area.

A parking lot has been set up in the northwestern corner, along with a shelter and a picnic table.
