You, as a farmer or a Forester, have the opportunity to receive grants for advice from LIFE Natureman if your land is within the Natura 2000 areas covered by the project. Your consultant will clarify the scope in consultation with your municipality and the Danish Nature Agency.
See Order on Grants for Counseling Private Farmers and Foresters on Nature Conservation as part of LIFE16 IPE, The Farmer as Nature Manager:
What kind of advice can be subsidized?
1) Advice on project opportunities on the property.
2) Advice on opportunities to make nature conservation an operational branch of the property.
3) Advice on conservation of habitats and species in the habitat area.
4) Preparation of applications for grants and project support on the property - including Natura 2000 support schemes.
5) Other advice in accordance with the purpose of the LIFE project e.g. feasibility studies for land consolidation, obtaining necessary permits, project economy and compliance with commitments and preparation of payment requests.
