Trails

In connection with the project, there may be a wish to establish trails in some of the sub-regions. In addition, there may be a desire to link existing trail systems and farm roads and thus create longer continuous trail systems. 

If there is an interest in major continuous trails across the project areas, the LIFE project can support the preparation of applications for other external funding. Funding, may be obtained from RDP funds, The Danish Outdoor Council or private funds.

Access to nature with good recreational facilities supports a positive development in rural areas and helps to provide recognition for the landowners and farmers. Good recreational facilities help support settlement and tourism.

Trails will only be established under voluntary agreements.
