16 people chose to spend their evening listening to Erik and an employee from Mariagerfjord Municipality talk about the area's cultural and natural history, as well as Erik's work with his lovely animals.
It was a good opportunity to see some of the very special botany at the Natura 2000 site (Kastbjerg Ådal N223). Especially the rare brown bog-rush got attention, but also other nice species from rich alkaline fens and petryfiging springs, such as ragged-robin, broad-leaved marsh orchid, etc., were seen by most.
A lovely evening ended with coffee and water, and delicious homemade cake.
