An overall vision has been composed by Viborg Municipality in LIFE IP Natureman for subregion Tjele Langsø and Vinge Møllebæk. The project area is ca. 230 hectares and consists of numerous alkaline fens some of which are overgrown, petrifying springs and nardus grasslands. In several places, the areas must be cleared and grazing must be established to ensure the habitats against overgrowth. Likewise, the landowners will be offered consultation in nature conservation. The area is part of Natura 2000-area nr. 33: Tjele Langsø and Vinge Møllebæk.
