The Danish Nature Agency, Viborg, Randers and Mariagerfjord Municipalities and the farmer's associations Agri Nord and Velas has invited citizens and landowners in Skals Ådalen at Sdr. Onsild to an open-tent event the 25-27th of June 2020. The aim was to hear about the wishes for development in the river valley. How the agriculture kan be strengthened, the nature quality can be improved and wishes for new local recreative possibilities.
A total of 60 visitors came over the 3 days the event was held, and several inputs for the development of the river valley was presented. There were very positive expressions from the landowners. Many were interested in land consolidation, some would sell meadow areas and others would buy neighbouring areas as their own meadows. Likewise, several recreative possibilities were suggested for the river valley.
