The first joint conference for all European integrated nature projects was held in Brussels on 14-16 October 2019.

For the first time, all 15 current integrated nature projects from 15 different Member States have been brought together for a three-day conference in Brussels. The goal was to exchange experiences and learn from each other. The meeting was organized by the Belgian LIFE nature project LIFE BNIP.

During the conference, experiences were shared in areas such as project management, communication, stakeholder management and fundraising. In addition, the focus was also on new LIFE programs for 2021-2027.

An all-day field visit to project areas in the BNIP project was included. Examples were shown of how agricultural schemes were used in species management and how water and nature integration efforts were used in connection with flood prevention.
